POLERA O VESTIDO?
Es verano! Y todo de pronto se simplifica y nada mejor que ir liviana por la playa. Este es un outfit absolutamente relajado, aunque con varios detalles que les quiero comentar:
El ¨vestido¨ es una especie de polera gigante, que tiene dos aperturas en las partes donde debería ir las mangas. Yo lo compré hecho, pero ya había visto la tendencia antes y se me había ocurrido ir a la ropa usada y convertir estas poleras gigantes en un vestido ondero. Por supuesto que agregué cinturón, para marcar la silueta… aunque con otro detalle: típico que cuando queremos usar un cinturón a la cintura, nos sobra mucha huincha! La solución es hacer un amarre estratégico como el de la foto, que hace que lo sobrante caiga hacia abajo.
Complementé con dos accesorios en un color algo inesperado para el gris: un camel fuerte en la cartera, con unas panchas en animal print que son mi última obsesión! En la tarde después de la playa, empieza a correr un aire un poco más fresco y nada mejor que cubrir los pies con unas comodísimas panchas (por lo menos yo no paso frío, mientras no sienta helados los pies!).
Para terminar, un panama hat que es en realidad un básico veraniego y de la playa 😉
SHIRT OR DRESS?
Summer is here! And suddenly everything seems simpler and lighter. This is an outfit absolutely relax and effortless, yet has many details that deserve some comments:
The ¨dress¨ it´s actually and extra large shirt, that has two holes when the sleeves should be. I bought it like this though. From some time ago I´ve been watching this trend: to transform big shirts into cool dresses… so I´ve been thinking going to a thrift shop and get some extra large shirts to transform. Of course that I added a belt! And here´s when you´ll find another detail: usually when you wanna wear a belt for your waist, there´s a lot of extra band that you don´t know where to put. Solution is to tie it in the way that the pic shows, so all the extra band just falls.
I added two accessories in an unexpected color for mixing with grey: a strong camel bag, with animal print slips on which are my latest obsession! Afternoons at chilean beaches are usually cold and windy, so nothing better than to cover the feet with some super comfy slips on!
Plus I wore a panama hat which is actually a basic for beach!
